I can tell you how much I am blessed to be a child of our heavenly Father.
Also, I am so grateful to have extended family around me.

Even though there were not may people to hear our beautiful performance, we enjoyed very much. Aren't they beautiful? I love my youth!!

This week anthem text

I would like to share with our anthem this week.
It is originally from 17th century chants and arranged by Lee Scott. The music is simple and beautifully arranged. Also, the text is wonderful.

In our music ministries,

Do you know how many choirs in our music ministries?
Yes, we have six choirs; the chancel choir(adults), the Youth choir, the children's choir, the adult handbell, the youth handbell, and the chimers.
We don't have the youth and children's choirs and handbells during summer however,
We do have the chancel choir as well as the adult handbell choir.
As some of you already knew, I would like to invite y'all to the summer choir. Lots of people need to take a their break as well as the choir members. So, it is very hard to keep up with a small number of choir members during summer time. If you love to sing, please come to our regular rehearsal on Wednesday night 7:15 at the sanctuary. You can visit us and see how the choir goes.

Also, the adult handbell choir meets every other week on Thursday at 5:30 in the sanctuary for this summer. We will meet on June 19th for next rehearsal. If you love to have an experience to ring a bell, this is a perfect time to come and try.

The Youth music team

Part of our youth music members will attend "Music and Art Week" at Lake Junaluska on June 22nd to 27th. We registered for youth handbell, band, and choir. Jason, Terri, and I will be in also adualt handbell and choir. Please pray for our safe trip and we will learn, get challenged, and be filled with the Holy Spirit to glorify the Lord with our musical talent.
