It is time to PRAY!

We had two new members of our prayer walk on last Monday. They go to another church but they read about our prayer walk especially this week for the middle school and high school.
I was very grateful that new people joined to pray together for the schools especially.
Coming week, we will pray for our government workers in our town, police officers, firefighters, public service personnel, a mayor and so on. So, we will meet at the police department parking lot at 6:00!
Also, our prayer conference is this Saturday. It will be a wonderful opportunity for everyone. I know, lots of people already made their minds to go to somewhere else. HOWEVER, it is not late to change your minds. As we all see and feel about our economic situation, it is the time to pray!
If you say, prayer does not work in the economy. No way. Prayer works in everywhere because God is the one who reigns all the world. We can't see that really but if you try hard enough, you will find out who has the real power. Let's give up one Saturday for the football or pumpkin patch or family trips. The opportunity does not come often. If it does, we will not call it "opportunity" or "chance". Life is full of choices. That is one of beauties in our lives however, it can be painful too due to our choices. Let's pray. It is time to pray. not tomorrow or next week.

Come Share the Lord

October is already here!!

We will have a communion service on this Sunday.
The chancel choir will sing " Come share the Lord" as our anthem and the youth ensemble will play "Holy, Holy, Holy" and " Open my eyes and hearts O Lord" at their first time.
Please support the music ministries by your prayers.
Here is the text.
We gather here in Jesus' name, His Love is burning in our hearts like living flame.
For through His loving Son, the Father makes us on. Come take the bread, come drink the wine, come share the Lord.
We'll gather soon where angels sing, we'll see the glory of our Lord and coming King.
Now we anticipate the feast for which we wait. Come take the bread, come drink the wine, come share the Lord.
For He will feed us with His presence here, this bread and wine will do us good.
Our deepest hungers He will satisfy, for He is life and peace and rest and drink and food.
He joins us here. He breaks the bread. The Lord who pours the cup is risen from the dead.
The one we love the most is now our gracious host. Come take the bread, come drink the wine, come share the Lord.

No one is a stranger here. Everyone be longs. Finding our forgiveness here, we in turn forgive
all wrongs. We are now the family of which the Lord is head. Though unseen He meets us here in the breaking of the bread.
