From an Upper Room

It is already March! This Sunday is our Communion Sunday. It is a very meaningful to serve the communion in Lent, and it is a wonderful opportunity to have a quiet time to think about Jesus' communion at the upper room during the passover. We will have a deeper moment to meditate about it on the Maundy Thursday but still it will be a special communion this Sunday. The chancel choir will sing " From an Upper Room" from our Lenten Cantata "The Lenten Sketches". We have been working on the cantata and this movement is about the Last supper of Jesus. It describes a vivid images of Jesus and his disciples. I pray that everyone will get to think about the last supper and have a moment to hear Jesus' voice of "it is my body and blood given for you" personally through this worship service.

The youth ensemble will praise at 11:00 service with a hymn " Standing in the need of prayer".
May the Lord use our music to glorify Him, and to share His presence to others!!

Nine of handbell ringers will attend the handbell workshop during this weekend at New Ebenezer. Please keep us in your prayer that we safely drive back and forth, learn and enjoy for glory of God!
